On the 2 ^nd of December 2023 Region 7 held a workshop at Ashtead Memorial Hall, Ashtead, which was led by Sharon Ford and Maggie Cundy. Alongside that Lesley Miller led our first “Have a Go Day” since COVID reared its ugly head.

Maggie started off by describing her technique and showing us the painting enamels that she had brought with her and the mediums that she uses. Maggie tends to paint from a photo or picture and showed us some wonderful work that she’d done and explained how she used sgraffito to achieve the effect of folds in the kimonos in one. It was a beautiful piece.
