In early May, I attended a 5-day workshop organised by the Enamel Guild North-East at Newark Museum. The tutor was Valeri Timofeev of Moscow.

 

It was an ambitious undertaking on my part, as my enamelling experience had not gone beyond the Millefioro and Media 'melt and chance it' stage! However, the temptation of a good excuse to visit the U.S. was hard to resist, especially when the fares were cheaper than to Europe.
