The aim of this project is to use thin layers of transparent enamel to colour and show off a pattern on the silver. As the enamel is thin and the metal curved, there is no need for counter enamelling.
Materials:
Rectangle of 0.8mm thick silver (or copper) measuring 2cm x 2.5 cm
Steel block or stake
A texturing hammer or punches to make a texture
Hand drill or Dremel type with 1mm drill bit
Leather/wooden mallet
Round stake or suitable substitute
