4" square enamel mounted on painted, grey granite-effect MDF block 6" square x ½”thick

This is a play on texture and tactile surfaces and was produced specially to support Geoffrey Winter's theme 'Wintertime'.
People who know my work will recognise my passion for my family of oriental dragons. I still intend to own one, when I grow up, to assist me with the firing.
To briefly describe the order of working :-
-
The dragon was drawn into Liquid White, exposing the copper, before being fired, dragon side down and with sifted counter enamel side up.
