Badges For Beginners
....using picture rubber stamps and transfer printing
Kathleen Kay
Many, many years ago, when my sons were ages 8 and 6, a group of their friends joined us in regular sessions of art and craft activities throughout the school summer holiday. The children had lots of fun, and a couple of exhibitions and competitions, with prizes, kept the club going for two years. I hadn't begun enamelling when the group was formed, so the necessary club badges were made from card, very nicely printed with picture rubber stamps. From my collection, the eight year olds chose the beaver, on a blue ground, and the younger group the jumbo, on red.
