Wire inlay and drawing
Demonstrations of two very useful techniques for decorating an enamel surface. Wire is laid into enamel and fired to form an outline pattern which can then filled with other shades of enamel. Drawing into enamel with graphite pencil is also a lovely and very simple way to add patterns to an enamelled piece. Bonnie Mackintosh and Dorothy Cockrell
