Description of your entry:
Using various different books and pictures as inspiration, I made up this composition of fairies in nature and hand drew it onto a sheet of clear acetate. I then used this to make a sunlight screen at a region 7 workshop. Using the screen, I created the outline in black enamel. Next I sieved different enamel colours to create the background, clothes and nature aspects, adding to the free, play-like, whimsical feel. Finally I used different coloured gold paint and lustres to add additional shimmer and dimensions to the piece.
