Night Brooch

Description of your entry: This brooch is inspired by the night sky over seagrasses. Enamel, copper, firescale, wire, beads, faceted stones, and strategically-placed silver are manipulated and arranged to create depths of colours, textures, and reflected light to capture the peaceful feeling of being on or under the water at night with starlight above and around. A simple rectangle framed with hammered white metal provides a quiet overall form. A double pin back provides stability.
