Evolution necklace

  • Exhibition: General Exhibition 2025
  • Description of your entry: Ammonites are a theme I have been exploring through different techniques in enamel for many years. During this time my work has evolved as I explore new ways of working. This necklace is the latest in a range of pieces that I call Evolution. It comprises gold cloisonné enamel on a constructed 3 dimensional pendant. It is strung with fresh water pearls and features a hand made box snap clasp to finish. The silver under the enamel has been engraved by hand and the surrounding silver has been engraved to echo the striations in rocks where fossils are found.
