Enamelling exhibition at the School of Jewellery, Birmingham

11th November  - 13th December 2013

To all members

Just a reminder to all to submit your images for this exhibition as soon as possible - deadline Friday 23rd August 2013.

Please support this joint venture, the principal at the school of jewellery has been very supportive and we have invited ten enamellers of note, plus a few well known commercial enamellers to enter one piece each. We are also relying on our members to submit their work for selection so that a true representation of the range and diversity of our wonderful medium will be shown. It is not a selling exhibition but we are hoping that talks and demonstrations will be given during this period. There are plenty of well lit and secure show cases to be filled!

Don’t worry if you do not have new work to show, you may send images of existing pieces that you are proud of; work can be in any material but must include vitreous enamel.

Please note there will be a charge of £30.00 per person if your piece(s) is selected for the exhibition. We intend to publish a catalogue and this contribution will help to cover the costs of photography, printing and insurance. Each exhibitor will be represented in the catalogue with one professional image of one of their pieces. You will also receive a free catalogue, plus the opportunity to buy a professional image of your work. Copies of the catalogue will be on sale to help cover the cost of production.

Please obtain an entry form from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and then submit the form and images of up to five pieces of work. Attach images in jpg format of the actual work to be sent. Ideally they should be close ups of the piece and of the largest possible size and/or highest possible picture quality and at least 1024x768 pixels. Please also note that this advice about image files is an update which replaces the original information on the form. (If you've already submitted images of lower quality do not worry: David will already have been in touch).

Please think about your entry now!
