The murky depths...

  • Exhibition: General Exhibition 2024
  • Description of your entry: This piece gives a nod to the rock pools found on the Norfolk shoreline, with sharply carved sand ridges, dark stones, a star fish representing the sea life and unknown seaweeds. Or are they sea worms?! This isnt the prettiest piece but it tries to capture the feel of the rockpools down by the sea. A rolling mill created the relief work, and the fossil dots were stamped. The seafish was created from reticulated sterling silver. The oxidised copper and blend of translucent enamels has created the green, brown & gold colours.
