Description of your entry:
I cut a swan shape Iād drawn from 0.5mm copper sheet. For the 1st firing, I used liquid grey (12550) on the back and ivory (623) on the front. I did another 2 firings of ivory on the front and then for the final firing I used blue-black (600) with water and klyr-fire to paint on the beak. After enamelling, I used picture wire and heavy duty mounting tape to attach a hook to the back of the swan so it can be hung.
I used WG Ball opaque lead free enamels, dry sifted (other than the liquid grey) and fired at 820C for 1-2 min, depending on the enamel and effect I wanted.
