Description of your entry:
I used a copper bowl bought from Harrison and Harrison. For the 1st firing, I used liquid black (12545) on the back and poppy red (8044) on the front. I added a swirl made from copper off-cuts to the centre of the bowl and did 3 more firings of poppy red, with the final firing left longer in the kiln to cause burning of the red.
I used WG Ball opaque lead free enamels, dry sifted (other than the liquid black) and fired at 820C for 1-2 min, depending on the effect I wanted.
