Ruby Tomes & Dorothy Cockrell

The aim of this project is to use transparent red or pink enamel on silver without it being discoloured by reacting with the silver. Most red or pink transparent enamels will turn yellow or brown if fired onto unprotected silver.

It actually turned into 2 pairs of earrings, one leaving part of the silver uncovered and the second pair showing complete coverage with bits of gold foil.
