Wireless Cloisonné Workshop with Jane Short
Set to 850 ℃ for us as learners so we don’t make the mistake of melting our silver blanks.
-A 0.7mm standard silver blank around 30 x 33 mm, to which Jane had given a nitric dip. Jane also had given texture to the upper side of our silver blanks by using a textured hammer on the silver blank, over a metal stake.
-Counter enamel: Silver Flux- Blythes C1, the general primary purpose of fluxes is to give a neutral colour to work on for e.g. Cloisonné, to use over a colour if more depth of enamel is needed, or as a final clear top layer of enamel.
