Gillie Hoyte Byrom

Sabine lives on the small island of Langeland in Denmark, on a farm that has been in her husband's family for five generations. She is an enameller extraordinaire, joyfully engaged in both indoor and outdoor pursuits, taking inspiration from the beauty of the surrounding countryside. She walks the wild beaches, head down, searching for gifts from the sea. She sails with her family; plays the saxophone and she's very much a part of her local community creating several unusuof mica by applying successive thin layers of wet ground glass enamel, tapping to de-bubble before firing.
