Mixing it Up with Decals

Workshop with Tilly Wilkinson

Marion Edwards

It was clear from the start of the workshop that Tilly wanted us to combine different enamelling processes, to experiment, exchange ideas but above all to have some fun. Tilly centred the workshop around decals, using existing decals in new ways and producing our own. Many of us had a go at making decals and then embellished the results with foils and other decoration media. I certainly learnt a great deal from the day. It was wonderful to be able to produce my own decals and I have decided to concentrate on this aspect of the workshop for my report for the journal.
