Region 7 Workshop held on 12 November 2011.
Erika Speel
At this very popular and enthusiastic workshop, when we were also able to see some of Keith Seldon’s fine miniatures, the focus was on how to produce precise outlines and forms as well as graduated colours with enamel painting in miniature.
In order that the members of the class could concentrate on the preparation and application of the coloured images, Keith supplied all participants with copper discs of 25 mm, previously prepared with white grounds and outline designs.
Two simple introductory points were stressed: always keep everything very clean and free from dust, including wiping surfaces or brushes only with fibreless cotton rags, and always work with the tip of the brush only.
