Notes from Veronica Matthew's Region 1 Workshop
Veronica works on thin copper shim, usually embossed to shape and stabilize it. She mounts her finished work in a number of ways, often on slate or wood.
The thinness of the metal allows it to reach a high temperature quickly which helps the transformation of colours.
