The Guild of Enamellers was established in 1978. We are a non-profit-making organisation based in Britain, with members around the world. This reflects our aim to promote enamelling as widely as possible. We do this through our web site; Regional Groups; an Annual Conference which includes a range of tutorial workshops and a masterclass; a Quarterly Journal; an extensive Library and Publications; and Events that stimulate interest and enthusiasm in enamelling.
The Guild of Enamellers offers one annual bursary which entitles the winner to the following: - to one year’s free subscription to The Guild of Enamellers with all accompanying benefits - a free place at the annual residential Spring Conference (full board) with the opportunity to assist a workshop tutor, attend a masterclass & lectures, exhibit your enamels, enter for awards & receive expert assessment. - including standard return travel expenses (within the UK mainland) paid on submission of receipts - a complete set of Guild teaching DVDs - Vouchers from Vitrum Signum for enamel supplies - Subscription to ‘craft&design’ online, editorial & promotional coverage - substantial prize fund sponsored by WG Ball – one year’s free membership of The British Society of Enamellers – sample sets of enamels courtesy of Milton Bridge Ceramic Colours Ltd - tools from Proops Bros.
